Indigenous Regeneration MATA YUUM In San Pasqual Reservation

Mata yuumHowka,

From dream to creation, we successfully launched the development of a unique 6 acre outdoor learning facility on the San Pasqual Indian Reservation in Valley Center, Ca. We incorporated many indigenous medicinal and food cultivating practices and traditions that Kumeyaay people have used for thousands of years. We built a wood burning pizza oven and cooked over 200 pizzas in it, we installed a Kumeyaay medicine wheel garden full of our indigenous medicines, a food forest full of exotic fruit and we cleared the way for more incredible installations in 2018.

Thank you for all the support from of our tribal elders, tribal community, tribal government, friends, volunteers (new friends) and family. We were able to plant seeds that will grow us all into the future.

If you would like to join us for the next round of installations please visit: www.indigenousregeneration.org
