On average, less than 50 percent of American Indian and Alaska Native students from the Pacific and Northwestern regions of the United States graduate high school, according to a new study by The Civil Rights Project/Proyecto Derechos Civiles at University of California, Los Angeles’ Graduate School of Education and Information Studies (GSE&IS).
