In continuation of our “Pride for Life” series projects, the AIR Program announces our Summer AIR Program starting July 7, 2008.  Our program includes the promotion of higher education, socialization among peers, community building, mentoring, and a fun and exciting summer!  Our program consists of a 5-week program in the months of July and August, Monday and Tuesday only, where students will be immersed in a series of educational, cultural, and life skills workshops at our partnering Colleges and Universities.  They will have the opportunity to apply research on field trips to various Southern California locations.  Students and mentors will film and post their work on local media channels throughout the program.  This program is for 6th through 9th grade.
